Matthew Rendall is an Australian/British lawyer who has been living and working in Cambodia full-time since 1993. He is a long-time board member of the Cambodian Federation of Employers (CAMFEBA). Refugee issues brought Matthew to Cambodia in 1993 when he was representing asylum seekers who had travelled by boat to Australia from Cambodia in the late 1980s/early 1990s. During his time in Cambodia he has worked extensively on Labor law issues including representing CAMFEBA in regional and global dialogues on Migrant Labor. He has worked on Migrant Domestic Worker issues, Migrant Fisher Industry issues, as well has addressing Child Labor issues in sectors in Cambodia such as the garment and brick manufacturing industries. In his capacity as Senior Partner of the law firm SokSiphana&Associates/ZicoLaw he advises domestic and foreign investors on, inter alia, the application of the Labor law and regulations. He is a board member of Britcham, Eurocham as well as Camfeba. He also holds Cambodian citizenship.
